I started playing electric bass in 1995. Since then, I have performed in a wide range of genres, including jazz, gospel, R&B, and funk. I studied double bass in New York under William McEvoy. After returning to Japan, I continued my studies under Keiichi Ishibashi and Harvie S. I have also performed with Vinicio Allegrini, the principal trumpeter of the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari. I earned a Diploma in Bass from Berklee College of Music.
